Inventory Accountant

  • Monitor and reconcile inventory accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical and system records.

  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes related to inventory accounting.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory-related issues, such as stock shortages, overages, and obsolete items.
  • Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all inventory transactions.
  • Collaborate with auditors during internal and external inventory audits.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant accounting standards and regulations affecting inventory management.
