- Lead the end-to-end procurement process for mechanical systems and equipment, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project requirements and company objectives.
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness, fostering strong vendor relationships.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure optimal agreements.
- Coordinate with engineering, project management, and site teams to ensure accurate specification and timely delivery of mechanical components.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues related to quality, delivery, or compliance.
- Maintain up-to-date records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier databases.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, products, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements throughout the procurement process.
- Prepare and present procurement reports, analysis, and recommendations to senior management.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.5 to 7 years of experience in mechanical procurement within the construction or engineering industry.Proven track record of managing procurement processes for large-scale mechanical systems and equipment.Strong negotiation and contract management skills.Excellent knowledge of supplier evaluation and selection methodologies.Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements.Exceptional organizational and project management abilities.Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to work on-site and adapt to dynamic project environments.
