Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership
- Develop, implement, and monitor long-term business development strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
- Lead market intelligence efforts, identifying trends, new opportunities, and competitive movements.
- Contribute to corporate strategic planning and regional expansion initiatives.
- Drive digital transformation and integration of new technologies to enhance business growth efficiency.
2. Revenue Growth & Market Development
- Define and execute the commercial strategy to achieve revenue, margin, and profitability targets.
- Build and maintain a high-value sales pipeline through proactive prospecting, networking, and partnerships.
- Lead proposal design, pricing, and contract negotiations to ensure competitiveness and sustainable profit.
- Establish measurable KPIs for lead conversion, new client acquisition, and revenue growth.
3. Client Relationship & Retention
- Maintain executive-level relationships with key accounts and stakeholders.
- Ensure client satisfaction, contract renewals, and long-term partnerships.
- Conduct regular Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to ensure alignment with delivery teams and SLAs.
- Identify and drive upselling and cross-selling opportunities across multiple service lines.
4. Financial & P&L Ownership
- Own and manage the business development P&L, ensuring profitability and cost optimization.
- Oversee pricing structures, cost models, and margin analysis.
- Monitor financial performance against forecasts and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Maintain commercial compliance, contract governance, and financial integrity across all deals.
5. Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, coach, and inspire the business development and account management teams.
- Set clear performance metrics and ensure accountability for achieving sales targets.
- Foster a collaborative, innovative, and high-performance culture focused on results and continuous improvement.
- Drive cross-departmental alignment between HR, operations, marketing, and finance teams.
6. Strategic Partnerships & Regional Expansion
- Build strategic alliances with technology vendors, telecom providers, and training partners.
- Support expansion plans into GCC, African, and European markets through localized business strategies.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, exhibitions, and professional forums to enhance brand visibility.
7. Reporting & Data Analytics
- Provide regular business performance reports, market forecasts, and executive summaries to senior management.
- Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making and optimize business strategy.
- Ensure accurate reporting through CRM and analytics platforms.
Education:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.MBA or relevant postgraduate degree preferred.Experience:Minimum of 10+ years in business development or sales leadership roles, including 5+ years in a senior management position.Proven record of driving revenue growth and achieving strategic sales targets.Previous experience in BPO, Outsourcing, or CE sectors is highly desirable.
