- Monitor and control project costs throughout the project lifecycle to ensure alignment with approved budgets.
- Prepare, analyze, and present detailed cost reports, forecasts, and variance analyses to project stakeholders.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to track expenditures and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Review and validate contractor and supplier invoices, ensuring compliance with contract terms and project budgets.
- Develop and maintain cost control systems, procedures, and documentation for ongoing and future projects.
- Assist in the preparation of project budgets, cash flow projections, and financial plans.
- Identify and assess potential risks related to project costs and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Support tendering and procurement processes by providing accurate cost estimates and evaluations.
- Conduct regular site visits to verify progress, monitor resource utilization, and ensure cost efficiency.
- Prepare final project cost reports and participate in project close-out activities, including lessons learned sessions.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.3 to 5 years of proven experience in cost control within the construction or property development industry.Strong understanding of project budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.Proficiency in cost control software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, office-based environment.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.Familiarity with contract management and procurement processes.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
