- Design, implement, and maintain complex IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, and network systems.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability of all IT services.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls across multiple platforms.
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and patching of operating systems (Windows/Linux) and enterprise applications.
- Develop and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.
- Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting and configuration management tools.
- Collaborate with software development and integration teams to support deployment and scaling of applications.
- Ensure security best practices are implemented, including vulnerability assessments and remediation.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and changes for compliance and knowledge sharing.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior administrators and IT support staff.
Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator or similar roleExperience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch managementKnowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recoveryExpertise in administering Windows and/or Linux server environments.Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM.Experience with network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and security best practices.Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation.Hands-on experience with backup solutions and disaster recovery planning.Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and documentation abilities.BSc/Ba in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline; professional certification (e.g. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)) is a plus
