- Lead the development, and optimization of mechanical systems and components for film manufacturing processes.
- Oversee installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical equipment to ensure maximum operational efficiency.
- Supervise utilities and do the needful maintenance for it.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Conduct root cause analysis of mechanical failures and develop corrective and preventive action plans.
- Prepare and review technical documentation, including specifications, drawings, and maintenance manuals.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies in all engineering activities.
- Manage and mentor junior engineers and technicians, providing technical guidance and support.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and materials to enhance production capabilities.
- Monitor equipment performance metrics and implement strategies to reduce downtime and maintenance costs.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for procurement, installation, and servicing of mechanical systems.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.3-5 years of proven experience in mechanical engineering, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.Strong knowledge of mechanical design, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work on-site and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Familiarity with safety standards and regulatory compliance in manufacturing.Proven track record of implementing process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
