- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices, quality, and delivery terms for goods and services.
- Process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials to meet operational requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand procurement needs and specifications.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse teams to avoid shortages or overstock situations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential suppliers.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and alternative products.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations in all purchasing activities.
- Assist in the preparation of procurement reports and analysis for management review.
- Support cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement projects within the procurement function.
