We are seeking a Sales Manager to lead business development and customer portfolio growth within the container land transport sector.
The role focuses on expanding market share, strengthening key client relationships, and driving profitable revenue through structured commercial planning and strong market intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the annual sales plan to achieve revenue and profitability targets in container transport services.
- Identify new business opportunities, expand customer accounts, and maintain strong relationships with key clients and strategic partners.
- Lead commercial negotiations, prepare proposals, and approve final pricing structures in coordination with internal teams.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and freight rate developments to maintain competitive positioning.
- Evaluate and improve sales methods, performance metrics, and customer retention strategies
- Reporting annually and quarterly sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
- Prepare periodic sales forecasts, market analysis reports, and performance dashboards for senior management.
- Coach, guide, and support Customer Relationship staff to elevate commercial performance and service quality.
- Represent the company professionally with clients, authorities, and partners.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Accounting, or a related field.From 10 - 12 years of Experience as in Sales & Relevant Fields.Experience should Includes a 5 – 7+ years of experience in container transport/logistics sales,Experience Including proven experience leading commercial or customer-focused teams.Strong understanding of transport cost structures, routing, and port operations.Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with ERP/CRM sales systems is preferred.Ability to work in a dynamic environment, meet targets, and adapt to changing commercial conditions.
