Business Analysis & Requirement Gathering:
- Engage with business users to understand financial accounting, reporting, cost controlling, and management requirements.
- Document functional requirements, workflows, and identify gaps between business needs and SAP standard functionality.
- Translate business requirements into SAP FICO solutions.
2. SAP FICO Configuration & Implementation:
- Configure SAP FI modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting, and Taxation.
- Configure SAP CO modules including Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), and Product Costing.
- Ensure proper integration with SAP MM, SD, and other modules.
- Support SAP S/4HANA FICO implementations, upgrades, and rollouts.
3. Testing & Quality Assurance:
- Prepare and execute Unit Test Scripts, Integration Test Scripts, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Resolve defects or issues identified during testing in collaboration with technical teams.
- Validate that FICO processes meet business requirements and operate efficiently.
4. Documentation & Training:
- Prepare functional specification documents for reports, interfaces, enhancements, and custom developments.
- Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for SAP FICO end-users.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, workflows, and best practices.
5. Support & Continuous Improvement:
- Provide post-implementation support for SAP FICO issues.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance efficiency, and optimize SAP FICO functionalities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent financial processes across the organization.

Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Information Technology.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an SAP FICO Functional Consultant.
- Strong knowledge of SAP FI and CO modules and end-to-end financial processes.
- Experience with SAP configuration, integration, and customization.
- Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders and technical teams.
- SAP FICO Certification.
- Experience with SAP Fiori apps for finance processes.
- Knowledge of SAP reporting tools (BW, SAP Analytics Cloud).
- Prior experience in large-scale SAP implementations, rollouts, or global projects.
- Familiarity with financial compliance, regulatory standards, and industry best practices.
