Business Analysis & Requirement Gathering:
- Engage with HR and business stakeholders to understand processes such as personnel administration, payroll, time management, organizational management, and talent management.
- Document functional requirements, workflows, and identify gaps between business needs and SAP standard functionality.
- Translate business requirements into SAP HCM solutions.
2. SAP HCM Configuration & Implementation:
- Configure SAP HCM modules, including Personnel Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM), Time Management (TM), Payroll (PY), Recruitment (RC), Learning & Development (L&D), and Performance Management (PM).
- Ensure proper integration with SAP FI, CO, and other relevant modules.
- Support SAP S/4HANA HCM implementations, upgrades, and rollouts.
3. Testing & Quality Assurance:
- Prepare and execute Unit Test Scripts, Integration Test Scripts, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot issues and resolve defects during testing.
- Ensure SAP HCM solutions meet business requirements and operate effectively.
4. Documentation & Training:
- Prepare functional specifications for reports, interfaces, enhancements, and custom developments.
- Develop end-user training materials and conduct training sessions for HR and payroll teams.
- Maintain documentation of SAP HCM configurations, workflows, and best practices.
5. Support & Continuous Improvement:
- Provide post-implementation support for SAP HCM issues.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, efficiency, and SAP HCM functionality.
- Collaborate with HR, IT, and cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and effective HR processes.
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an SAP HCM Functional Consultant.
- Strong knowledge of SAP HCM modules and end-to-end HR processes.
- Experience with SAP configuration, integration, and best practices.
- Proficiency with SAP S/4HANA HCM is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and technical teams.
- SAP HCM Certification.
- Experience with SAP Fiori apps for HR processes.
- Knowledge of SAP reporting tools (SAP BW, Analytics Cloud).
- Prior experience in large-scale SAP implementations or global projects.
- Understanding of local labor laws, payroll regulations, and HR compliance standards.
