Financial Officer

Purpose

Manage all projects contractually and financially to ensure smooth execution, timely documentation, accurate reporting, and profitability of all running contracts.

Key Responsibilities

1. Contract & Project Management

Collect required documents for processing and update electronic files accurately and on time.

Follow up with customers for payment collections to minimize collection cycle duration and enhance cash flow.

Act as the focal point of contact between Operations, Sales, and Finance within the Business Unit to ensure timely booking of transactions.

Support the Sales Operations Management (SO MGMT) team with all required information to maintain profitable and properly managed contracts.

2. Sales & Inventory Responsibilities

Fully comprehend all Contracts and Purchase Orders with customers and agents to carry out assigned responsibilities.

Review price books with the Sales team to ensure all prices and items are available for invoicing.

Handle order tracking, reporting, invoicing, and revenue forecasting.

Provide the Country Manager with necessary information for monthly revenue forecasts, including mid-month updates with inputs from the Sales team.

3. Collections

Coordinate with the SO MGMT team to follow up on the collection of due receivables.

Prepare and share a weekly report of due receivables.

Communicate with and visit customers when necessary to ensure payment follow-up.

Assist the Regional Financial Controller in estimating doubtful provisions and following up on write-offs.

4. Document Control

Organize, update, and maintain technical and financial documentation, records, and data within own scope.

Respond promptly to documentation requests from SO teams.

Support internal teams in investigating and resolving documentation-related issues.

Update relevant data in the Oracle System.

5. Financial Management

Support the Sales team in preparing Sales Invoices ensuring all contractual items are accurate and complete.

Assist the Regional Financial Controller in preparing monthly accrual, revenue, and costing reports using Oracle.

Coordinate with the SO MGMT team to effectively control costs and forecast performance.

Assist the SO Financial Controller in assessing actual performance versus budget and monitoring variances.

Support management with other assignments and special projects as required.

6. QHSE Responsibilities

Assist in developing and implementing QHSE plans in compliance with company policies, procedures, and client requirements.

7. Teamwork & People Management

Actively participate in on-the-job training and promote collaboration across departments.


Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.3 to 5 years of proven experience in a financial officer or similar finance role.Strong understanding of financial regulations, accounting principles, and reporting standards.Proficiency in financial management software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration across departments.Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an office-based environment.Professional integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.Fluent in English
