- Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and procedures in alignment with local and international standards.
- Supervise and coordinate all HSE activities across manufacturing, agricultural, and distribution operations to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Deliver HSE training programs and workshops to employees at all levels, fostering a culture of safety and environmental awareness.
- Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near-misses, preparing detailed reports and implementing preventive measures.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and certification requirements, including Naturland, Biosuisse, JAS, NOP, and Fair Trade standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate HSE considerations into operational planning and decision-making.
- Maintain accurate HSE records, documentation, and reporting systems for internal and external audits.
- Promote continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workplace safety, reduce environmental impact, and support sustainability goals.
- Act as the primary contact for HSE matters with regulatory authorities, certification bodies, and external stakeholders.
Minimum of +7 years of experience in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) management within an agricultural, manufacturing, or distribution environment.Proven ability to develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies and procedures.Strong knowledge of local and international HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.Experience conducting risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations.Excellent communication and training skills, with the ability to engage and motivate teams.Demonstrated leadership and supervisory capabilities at the middle management level.Proficient in maintaining HSE documentation and preparing compliance reports.Ability to work effectively in an on-site, fast-paced operational environment.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Commitment to promoting a culture of safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement.
