1. Position Overview
The Digital Fundraising Lead is the strategic lead for MEK Egypt’s digital donor portfolio. This role owns the end-to-end digital fundraising lifecycle—from acquisition strategy and donor segmentation to retention, revenue forecasting, and growth planning. Working in close partnership with the Digital Marketing team, the incumbent ensures that all digital fundraising activities are data-driven, donor-centric, and aligned with MEK’s mission and financial objectives.
This position serves as the “digital arm” of the fundraising function, translating organizational goals into scalable, measurable digital campaigns that maximize donor lifetime value and sustainable income.

2. Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in developing and executing digital fundraising strategy, including revenue targets, donor acquisition plans, and retention roadmaps.
  • Manage and optimize the digital donor portfolio using CRM-based segmentation (e.g., RFM modeling) to identify upgrade, reactivation, and high-value engagement opportunities.
  • Design multi-channel digital fundraising campaigns in collaboration with the Digital Marketing team, who will lead the process
  • Forecast monthly/quarterly digital income by channel and adjust tactics based on real-time performance data.
  • Monitor and report on donor health metrics, including retention rates , active donor growth, and portfolio maturity.
  • Translate fundraising objectives into clear, actionable briefs for the Digital Marketing team (e.g., audience definition, campaign goals, success metrics).
  • Ensure seamless integration between marketing data and the CRM for closed-loop reporting and donor journey visibility.
  • Analyze donor lifetime value (LTV) and cost-to-serve to guide strategic investment decisions.
  • Stay abreast of digital fundraising trends in Egypt and the MENA region, particularly around payment methods (e.g., InstaPay, Fawry, e-wallets) and donor behavior.

Minimum of 4–6 years of hands-on experience in digital fundraising (for nonprofits/NGOs) or digital sales (for social enterprises or B2C/B2B organizations), with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets .Successful proven record on digital planning, profiling, STP techniques with growth tactics•Experience working in Egypt with an understanding of local digital payment ecosystems preferredDemonstrated proficiency in understanding digital acquisition channels, including email marketing, social media ads (Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok), Google Ads, SEO/SEM, and mobile fundraising/sales platformsHands-on experience with CRM platforms and managing donor/customers databasesStrong ability to analyze campaign performance metrics (e.g., CTR, conversion rates, LTV, ROAS, donor retention) and use data to optimize strategies
