The Process Engineer will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing production processes to ensure consistent product quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in paint or chemical process operations, with a proven ability to identify improvement opportunities and implement process enhancements across various production lines.
- Supervise and optimise paint manufacturing processes, including mixing, dispersion, tinting, and packaging operations.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure process control and product consistency.
- Analyze process data to identify inefficiencies, quality deviations, or equipment performance issues.
- Collaborate with R&D and quality control teams to support new product trials and scale-up activities.
- Participate in root-cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for process deviations.
- Lead continuous improvement projects focused on energy efficiency, yield improvement, and cost reduction.
- Support maintenance and engineering teams in troubleshooting and optimising process equipment performance.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards and manufacturing regulations.
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Engineering, or Industrial/machinery engineering.A minimum of 2 years of experience in paint manufacturing or chemical processing plants is mandatory.Knowledge of paint formulations, pigment dispersion, resin mixing, and batch process control systems is an advantage. Experience with automation systems (SCADA, PLCs) and process instrumentation is a plus.Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and technical reporting skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a production environment with cross-functional teams.
