A new company represents a group of major, global holding companies located in El Maadi seeking a male, full-time on-site role as a Chief Accountant, your daily tasks will include overseeing financial operations, preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, managing budgets, and conducting financial analysis. You will collaborate closely with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and support strategic decision-making processes.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the accounting department and take corrective action when necessary.
• Recommend and determine accounting software and electronic systems that ensure accuracy and efficiency in performing accounting processes.
• Supervise the preparation of financial files and records to document transactions, and oversee the preparation of monthly, annual, and final accounts reports.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable, manage journal entries, general ledger, trial balance, and accounting adjustments.
• Participate in preparing budget forecasts and reviewing budgets and payroll statements.
• Conduct periodic variance analysis of revenues and expenses and provide necessary recommendations.
• Perform reconciliations for capital assets and trust accounts.
• Lead and manage the accounting team by assigning tasks, organizing workflow, evaluating performance, and providing guidance and training to achieve set objectives.
• Coordinate and follow up on annual financial audits with external auditors.
• Stay updated on legal changes and ensure policies and procedures are updated to comply with local and international accounting regulations.
