1. Regulatory Compliance
- Monitor compliance with environmental laws, permits, and regulations (e.g., air, water, waste).
- Prepare and submit reports to regulatory authorities as required.
2. Environmental Monitoring
- Conduct regular inspections, audits, and sampling (e.g., air quality, water discharge, noise).
- Track and analyze environmental performance data.
3. Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA)
- Support or lead EIAs for new projects or expansions.
- Identify potential environmental risks and recommend mitigation measures.
4. Waste and Resource Management
- Develop and oversee waste management plans (hazardous and non-hazardous).
- Promote recycling, energy efficiency, and resource conservation.
5. Incident Investigation & Response
- Investigate environmental incidents or non-compliance cases.
- Develop corrective and preventive action plans.
6. Training & Awareness
- Deliver environmental awareness sessions to employees and contractors.
- Support integration of environmental practices into daily operations.
7. Sustainability Initiatives
- Participate in ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) programs.
● Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.● 3-5 years of proven experience in an environmental specialist or similar role, preferably within manufacturing or heavy industry.● Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, standards, and best practices applicable to industrial operations.● Experience conducting environmental audits, risk assessments, and compliance reporting.● Demonstrated ability to develop and implement environmental management systems.● Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.● Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and training.● Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
