Senior Sales Team Leader

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Sales Team Leader to lead and support our sales team in driving growth across our global SMS solutions.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record in telecom or messaging sales, strong leadership capabilities, and deep knowledge of A2P SMS and related technologies. This role combines both hands-on sales execution and team leadership, ensuring consistent achievement of company targets and expansion into new markets.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement effective sales plans targeting enterprise clients, resellers, and strategic partners.
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities for A2P, bulk SMS, HLR lookup, and SMS reseller services.
  • Monitor team performance against goals, ensuring achievement of revenue targets and KPIs.
  • Support team members in closing complex deals and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline.

2. Client Relationship Management

  • Build and sustain strong relationships with key accounts and partners.
  • Act as an escalation point and ensure timely resolution of client concerns.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with clients to enhance retention and upselling opportunities.

3. Market Development & Research

  • Stay informed about telecom trends, pricing changes, and competitor activities.
  • Identify high-potential regions and propose strategies to expand market presence.
  • Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to align messaging and service offerings with client needs.

4. Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a small sales team, providing guidance and performance feedback.
  • Coordinate with customer support, marketing, and technical departments to ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Encourage a results-oriented and client-focused culture within the team.

5. Contract Negotiation & Account Oversight

  • Supervise negotiations and ensure contracts meet profitability and compliance standards.
  • Oversee account lifecycle, from onboarding to renewal, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).Minimum 7 years of sales experience, including at least 4 years in a team leader or supervisory role within telecom or technology.Experience in A2P SMS, bulk messaging, or related telecom services is highly desirable.Skills and Attributes:Strong understanding of global SMS services and direct operator connectivity.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Strategic mindset with hands-on leadership and team motivation skills.Analytical with the ability to interpret sales metrics and market trends.Highly organized, proactive, and results-driven.
