- Assist lead educators in planning and implementing play-based learning activities that foster children’s curiosity and development.
- Support the creation of a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment for children of diverse backgrounds.
- Observe and document children’s progress, behaviours, and developmental milestones to inform individualized learning approaches.
- Encourage and facilitate positive social interactions among children, promoting respect, empathy, and cooperation.
- Assist with daily routines, including snack time, outdoor activities, toileting, etc…
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Collaborate with team members to develop and adapt curriculum materials that reflect children’s interests and needs.
- Model and reinforce appropriate behavior and classroom expectations in alignment with school policies.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training sessions to enhance teaching practices.
- Support children with additional needs, ensuring all learners are included and engaged in classroom activities.
