- Analyze project specifications, drawings, and technical documents to prepare accurate mechanical tender submissions.
- Conduct detailed cost estimation for mechanical systems, including materials, labor, and equipment.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to gather necessary information for bid preparation.
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations and technical data.
- Prepare and review technical and commercial proposals in accordance with client requirements.
- Ensure all tender documentation complies with industry standards and company policies.
- Identify and assess project risks, proposing mitigation strategies within the tender process.
- Participate in pre-tender meetings, site visits, and clarification sessions with clients.
- Support negotiations and post-tender clarifications as required.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, pricing, and new technologies relevant to mechanical systems.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.3 to 4 years of proven experience in mechanical tendering or estimation within the construction or contracting industry.Strong understanding of mechanical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection.Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and BOQs.Excellent analytical and numerical skills for accurate cost estimation.Familiarity with tendering procedures, contract terms, and bidding strategies.Effective communication and teamwork abilities.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tenders simultaneously.Strong organizational and time management skills.Proficient in MS Office Suite and relevant estimation software.
