Job Responsibilities:
Checking incoming invoices
Recording all business transactions: handling accounts payable, fixed assets accounting, as well as bank and cash transactions
Documentation and preparation of balance sheets and profit and loss statements
Participation in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Assisting in strategic financial management issues and preparing key information for management
Communication with tax consultants and auditors
Reviewing travel expense reports
Determining tax liabilities
Submitting reports to authorities and administrations
Preparing VAT advance returns for the tax office
Job Requirements:Comprehensive knowledge of finance, accounting, and German tax lawIdeally: certified as a balance sheet accountantProfessional experience within German corporate structuresProficient in DATEVExcellent command of the German language (C1 level)Strong MS Office skills, especially ExcelHigh affinity for numbersAnalytical and precise working styleWell-organized approachSelf-motivated
