Procurement Specialist

  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process for engineering and construction materials, equipment, and services.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery and optimal pricing.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with suppliers to maximize value and minimize risk.
  • Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, cost, delivery, and compliance with company standards.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to determine procurement needs and specifications.
  • Monitor inventory levels and forecast future requirements to prevent shortages or excess stock.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Resolve any issues related to delivery delays, quality discrepancies, or invoice disputes.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation for audit and reporting purposes.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory, HSE, and sustainability standards.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve procurement processes and drive cost savings.
  • Purchase goods or services that meet the quantity and quality expectations of the organization

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.1 – 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain coordination.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.Solid understanding of supply chain processes and best practices.Ability to analyze data and make informed purchasing decisions.
