2. Strategic Project Management - Oversee and coordinate business development projects across skincare, haircare, and personal care categories.
- Define and monitor project timelines, ensuring team members deliver on milestones and client requirements.
- Anticipate risks, resolve challenges, and escalate critical issues to senior management.
3. Market & Client Development - Drive client relationship management by ensuring consistent communication, understanding needs, and delivering value-added solutions.
- Guide the team in identifying market trends, new opportunities, and competitive insights to support business growth.
- Lead major negotiations and client presentations, ensuring alignment with business strategy.
4. Product & Packaging Development Oversight - Supervise the team’s collaboration with R&D and suppliers in preparing product briefs, packaging concepts, and innovation proposals.
- Ensure product and packaging options meet brand positioning, technical requirements, and client expectations.
5. Financial & Commercial Alignment - Validate and approve cost structures and pricing proposals developed by the team, ensuring competitiveness and profitability.
- Work closely with Finance and Supply Chain to maintain commercial feasibility of new projects.
6. Supplier & Partner Management - Build and sustain long-term partnerships with key suppliers and vendors.
- Oversee supplier negotiations on behalf of the department to secure best terms, lead times, and quality standards.
7. Reporting & Performance Tracking - Monitor and report on business development performance, pipeline status, and project outcomes to senior leadership.
- Provide insights and recommendations for improving efficiency, growth, and market positioning.
8. Cross-functional Collaboration - Ensure effective alignment and collaboration with Marketing, R&D, Quality, Regulatory, and Operations.
