Purchasing Section Head

  • Manage sourcing, evaluation, and selection of suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Prepare and review purchase orders, contracts, and procurement documentation.
  • Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular evaluations.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials and services to avoid project delays.
  • Control procurement costs and identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Collaborate with legal and finance teams to manage contractual risks.
  • Prepare procurement reports, forecasts, and budgets for management review.
  • Lead negotiations and resolve supplier or subcontractor issues promptly.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.5 to 8 years of progressive experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.Proven track record in managing procurement operations within a fast-paced environment.Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.Solid understanding of contract management and supplier relationship management.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work on-site and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
