- Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
- Manage general ledger entries, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing processes.
- Ensure timely and accurate posting of all financial transactions in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial planning activities.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data, producing financial reports and statements as required.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Maintain and update fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
- Review and process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate cost allocations and financial reporting.
- Identify areas for process improvement and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.5-7 years of proven experience in general accounting or a similar financial role.Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in preparing financial documents.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Experience working in a large organization or group structure is an advantage.Ability to work on-site and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
