Credit Officer " Auto Loan"

Key Responsibilities

  1. Loan Sales & Customer Engagement
  • Promote and cross-sell auto loan products to customers purchasing vehicles through the dealership.
  • Explain financing options, loan structures, interest rates, and repayment terms clearly to customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with individual buyers, corporate clients, and fleet customers.
  • Provide pre-qualification checks and assist customers in selecting the right financing solution.
  1. Application Processing & Credit Assessment
  • Collect, verify, and process all required documents (ID, income proof, employment verification, etc.).
  • Conduct initial credit analysis and forward applications for approval in line with policies.
  • Coordinate with banks, financial institutions, or in-house finance arms to ensure smooth approvals.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal risk guidelines.
  1. Coordination with Dealership & Sales Teams
  • Work closely with automotive sales team to generate leads and finalize loan-linked sales.
  • Track customer loan applications and update sales staff on approval status.
  • Support sales campaigns and promotional offers by aligning financing solutions.
  1. Portfolio Management & Collections
  • Monitor disbursed loans and ensure timely repayment follow-up.
  • Assist in resolving customer issues, repayment delays, or defaults.
  • Maintain updated records of active loans and customer accounts.
  • Report delinquent accounts and coordinate with collections teams.
  1.  Reporting & Performance
  • Achieve monthly/quarterly loan disbursement and portfolio growth targets.
  • Provide regular reports on loan applications, approvals, rejections, and portfolio health.

Education Level: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related field3–5 years of experience in auto finance, retail banking, or the automotive sector.Strong knowledge of loan products, credit evaluation, and risk management.Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in MS Office and loan/CRM systems.Ability to work under pressure and meet sales & collection targets.Sales & target-driven mindsetStrong analytical & decision-making abilityCustomer-centric approachAttention to detail & compliance focusRelationship-building with clients & partners
