Procurement Management:
Develop and implement procurement strategies for materials, equipment, and subcontracted services.
Prepare, issue, and evaluate RFQs (Request for Quotations), RFPs (Request for Proposals), and tenders.
Negotiate with suppliers to achieve best prices, quality, and delivery terms.
Vendor Management:
Identify, qualify, and maintain an approved vendor list in coordination with quality and engineering departments.
Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, delivery, and cost criteria.
Establish long-term supplier relationships to ensure reliability and continuous improvement.
Technical & Commercial Evaluation:
Review and interpret technical specifications, engineering drawings, and BOQs.
Conduct comparative analysis of technical and commercial offers and prepare recommendation reports.
Contract Administration:
Support preparation and finalization of purchase orders and subcontracts.
Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual terms, and applicable regulations.
Monitor contract execution and manage variations or claims.
Cost & Budget Control:
Ensure procurement activities align with project budgets and cost targets.
Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
Coordination & Reporting:
Collaborate with project, engineering, and logistics teams to ensure material availability according to project schedules.
Track procurement status and report regularly to management on progress, risks, and supplier performance.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field).Experience: Minimum 5–8 years of experience in procurement within the engineering, construction, or industrial sector.Technical Knowledge:Strong understanding of engineering materials, equipment, and technical specifications.Familiar with project procurement cycles, international sourcing, and logistics processes.Skills:Excellent negotiation and communication skills.Strong analytical, planning, and organizational abilities.Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and MS Office tools.Fluent in English (written & spoken).Work Environment:Based at the head office or project site, with occasional travel for supplier visits or audits.Works under deadlines and project-driven priorities.
