- Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, adjustments, and disposals.
- Reconcile physical inventory counts with system records and investigate discrepancies.
- Prepare and analyze inventory reports to support management decision-making.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual inventory closing processes.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary inventory documentation and explanations.
- Implement and enforce inventory control procedures to minimize losses and improve accuracy.
- Analyze inventory variances and provide recommendations for process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline inventory management processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.4-6 years of proven experience in inventory accounting or a similar role.Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and accounting software.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry and analysis.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Strong organizational and time management skills.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Experience with ERP systems is highly desirable.Ability to work on-site as required by the company.
