Operational Management
- Distribute overall and sub-targets received from the Area Manager fairly among shifts and team members.
- Plan and coordinate shift schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels; submit finalized schedules to the HR Department.
- Oversee the execution of daily operations to ensure service excellence and operational efficiency.
- Supervise inventory activities, including daily stock checks and coordination with the Inventory Committee for adjustments.
- Monitor stock levels and review inbound/outbound documentation to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Ensure availability and proper organization of all official branch documents for presentation to relevant authorities when needed.
- Ensure safety, functionality, and proper maintenance of fixed assets and facilities within the branch.
- Cover pharmacist shortages when necessary to ensure uninterrupted branch operations.
Sales & Business Development
- Ensure the achievement of monthly sales and performance targets (branch-wide and individual).
- Monitor sales against KPIs such as push list, Tresor, basket size, and new customer acquisition.
- Develop and implement localized promotional campaigns to drive foot traffic and revenue.
- Train and guide staff to improve upselling and cross-selling techniques.
- Monitor daily target achievement and communicate progress to the team to foster accountability.
Staff Leadership & Development
- Provide effective leadership to the team, fostering a positive work culture aligned with company values.
- Identify, train, and prepare a deputy to manage operations during your absence.
- Monitor staff performance across all shifts, with particular attention to night shifts.
- Ensure the delivery team maintains proper grooming, dress code, and service quality standards.
- Evaluate training needs of staff, coordinate with HR, and assess training effectiveness post-completion.
Compliance & Control
- Enforce adherence to the company’s operating protocols and Code of Ethics.
- Regularly monitor surveillance camera footage on designated screens to ensure staff adherence to company standards and operational protocols, with particular focus on night shift activities.
- Verify that night shift employees fulfill duties listed in the Night Shift Service Logbook.
- Conduct periodic audits of the main branch safe and ensure proper handover documentation across shifts.
- Ensure all financial and inventory records meet audit and compliance standards.
- Implement and monitor procedures that reduce discrepancies (e.g., avoid stock shortages, maintain accuracy thresholds).
Reporting & Communication
- Submit detailed monthly performance reports to the Area Manager with action plans and timelines.
- Communicate regularly with all team members and maintain 24/7 availability for urgent operational matters.
- Review and respond to official branch emails daily to ensure timely coordination with other departments.
- Maintain accurate documentation and submit periodic reports related to training, operations, inventory, and compliance.
