- Monitors students in a variety of settings to provide a safe and positive learning environment
- Selects and orders art supplies for the course being taught
- Evaluates students’ progress, including assessing students’ work through art portfolios
- Uses age appropriate tools and materials.
- Prepares necessary props and backdrops for school plays and events.
- Uphold and follow the policies of the school
- Establish positive working relationships with all stakeholders
- Be a representative of the school
- Ensure the well-being and safety of students at all times
- Work in collaboration with others
- Maintain professionalism at all times
- Seeks out and attends workshops, seminars, and courses related to child development, education, and language acquisition.
Prior experience as an art teacher.Demonstrated excellence in a variety of art techniques.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Capacity to supervise group work.Outstanding planning and problem-solving skills.
