- Act as the technical adviser at the site for subcontractors, craftspeople, and operatives, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.
- Review and verify plans, drawings, and quantities to ensure accuracy before execution.
- Prepare as-built and shop drawings in accordance with project requirements.
- Interpret construction drawings, contract documents, and applicable standards (local and international) prior to commencement of work.
- Oversee the electrical work plan, coordinating with civil, mechanical, and other trades to ensure smooth execution and clash avoidance.
- Monitor daily site activities, supervise labor force, and ensure work quality and safety standards are maintained.
- Conduct regular site inspections, prepare daily reports, inspection requests, and progress updates for submission to the Site Manager.
- Resolve technical issues promptly, providing solutions to minimize delays.
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of electrical materials and equipment to prevent work interruptions.
- Manage storage and handling of electrical materials and equipment to prevent damage or theft.
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental policies on-site, ensuring a safe working environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.5 to 8 years of proven experience in electrical site engineering within the construction or real estate development sector.Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and standards relevant to large-scale building projects.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced, on-site environment.Strong leadership skills with experience supervising site teams and subcontractors.Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.Solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations applicable to construction sites.Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.Willingness to work full-time, on-site, and adapt to project demands as needed.
