KEY RESPONSIBILITIES, ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ACTIVITIES
General
• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the finance department, including accounting, budgeting, and reporting.
• Develop and implement financial strategies to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
• Prepare and present accurate financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and international accounting standards (IFRS, SOCPA).
• Manage cash flow and forecast financial trends to ensure liquidity and financial stability.
• Supervise and mentor finance team members, ensuring effective performance and professional development.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors during financial audits and implement recommendations for improvement.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and potential risks, providing insights to senior management.
• Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure effective financial controls.
BACKGROUND, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 6 years of relevant finance experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, CA) is preferred.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations and accounting standards.
Skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Proficient in financial software and accounting systems.
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
• Strong communication skills in both English and Arabic.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
