Role Summary: Designer of the Customer Journey
We are looking for a professional Visual Merchandiser whose primary mission is to transform our showrooms into inspiring destinations. The successful candidate will be responsible for engineering the Customer Journey within the branch, ensuring that every space and every piece of furniture tells a compelling story that stimulates interaction and drives purchasing decisions.
This role requires deep experience in the furniture retail environment and a comprehensive understanding of utilizing lighting and spatial arrangement to maximize product appeal.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Flow Scenario (Customer Journey): Design and coordinate branch displays to create a seamless customer flow path, starting from the entrance to the point of sale, ensuring the exploration of all product categories.
Cross-Merchandising Strategy: Strategically connect related products (e.g., pairing outdoor furniture with appropriate accessories, or matching wooden pieces with complementary metal items) to maximize the average transaction value.
Zone Management: Oversee and organize display zones dedicated to indoor furniture, outdoor collections, accessories, and effectively integrate various materials (wood, metal) in a balanced and attractive manner.
Visual and Technical Design: Apply principles of lighting, color, and Space Planning to highlight different materials, textures, and the quality of manufacturing.
Display Compliance: Ensure all branches adhere to the company's unified visual merchandising standards and policies.
Display Evaluation: Conduct regular evaluations of display effectiveness based on associated sales metrics and recommend adjustments driven by performance data
Experience: A minimum of Five years of experience in Visual Merchandising, preferably within multi-branch furniture retail companies.Product Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of materials and furnishings, including wooden and metal furniture, and techniques for coordinating both indoor and outdoor settings.Technical Skills (Preferred): Proficiency in planning and conceptualizing displays using design software (preferably SketchUp or AutoCAD) for space planning and visualization.Visual Acumen: Strong artistic sense and high aesthetic taste in using color, lighting, and texture to create an effective selling environment
