- Lead and manage the Primary Stage Mathematics Department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality instruction aligned with the school’s vision and curriculum standards.
- Develop, implement, and regularly review the mathematics curriculum to ensure it meets the needs of diverse learners and adheres to national and international benchmarks.
- Mentor, support, and evaluate mathematics teachers, fostering professional growth and promoting best teaching practices within the department.
- Monitor student progress and achievement in mathematics, analyzing data to inform instructional improvements and targeted interventions.
- Organize and oversee mathematics-related events, competitions, and enrichment activities to enhance student engagement and enthusiasm for the subject.
- Collaborate with school leadership and other department heads to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to teaching and learning.
- Manage departmental resources, including textbooks, teaching materials, and technology, ensuring their effective utilization.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding curriculum updates, student progress, and strategies for supporting learning at home.
Minimum of 2 years and maximum of 4 years of experience in mathematics education, preferably at the primary stage.Demonstrated experience in a leadership or supervisory role within an educational setting.Strong knowledge of primary mathematics curricula and instructional best practices.Proven ability to mentor, coach, and develop teaching staff.Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development.Preferred to be Female.
