- Develop, implement, and oversee quality control processes for all furniture products, ensuring adherence to company and industry standards.
- Lead and manage the quality control team, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations to ensure high standards are maintained.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of production lines, materials, and finished goods to identify and address quality issues.
- Collaborate with product design and manufacturing teams to integrate quality assurance protocols into new product development.
- Analyze quality data and generate reports to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Establish and maintain documentation for quality control procedures, inspection criteria, and compliance records.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure incoming materials meet required specifications and quality benchmarks.
- Investigate customer complaints and non-conformities, implementing corrective and preventive actions as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, regulatory, and environmental standards within the furniture manufacturing process.
- Drive a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement across all departments involved in product development and manufacturing.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in quality control or quality assurance within the furniture or alternative furniture manufacturing industry.Proven track record of managing quality control teams and processes in a manufacturing environment.Strong understanding of furniture production methods, materials, and industry quality standards.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.Demonstrated ability to develop and implement quality management systems and continuous improvement initiatives.Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.Experience in conducting audits, inspections, and root cause analyses.Familiarity with regulatory and safety standards relevant to furniture manufacturing.Proficiency in quality control software, data analysis tools, and reporting systems.Ability to work onsite and adapt to a fast-paced, innovative environment.
