- Lead and oversee the design and coordination of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems for diverse construction projects.
- Manage multidisciplinary teams of engineers and designers to ensure project objectives, timelines, and quality standards are met.
- Develop and review detailed MEP design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and calculations.
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems within overall project designs.
- Conduct technical reviews and value engineering to optimize system performance, cost, and sustainability.
- Ensure compliance with local codes, standards, and regulations throughout the design process.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and design staff.
- Coordinate with contractors and suppliers during the tendering and construction phases to resolve design-related issues.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Prepare and present technical reports, proposals, and presentations to clients and senior management.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in MEP design and engineering within the construction industry.Proven track record in managing MEP design teams and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and their integration in building projects.Experience with relevant design software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and other BIM tools.Excellent knowledge of local and international building codes and standards.Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, office-based environment.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Attention to detail and commitment to quality.Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
