- Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities for sports construction projects, including natural and artificial turf fields, athletic tracks, indoor halls, and swimming pools.
- Evaluate and monitor project expenditures, ensuring alignment with approved budgets and identifying potential cost overruns.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, verify completed work, and ensure compliance with contract specifications and quality standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather data, resolve discrepancies, and optimize resource allocation.
- Review and negotiate contracts, variations, and claims with suppliers, contractors, and clients.
- Prepare and present periodic financial reports, forecasts, and cash flow analyses to management and stakeholders.
- Assist in procurement processes by evaluating tenders, analyzing bids, and recommending suppliers or subcontractors.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of all project costs, changes, and contractual correspondence.
- Support value engineering initiatives to maximize project efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure adherence to relevant legal, regulatory, and safety standards throughout all project phases.
Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.2 to 7 years of proven experience in quantity surveying, preferably within the construction or sports infrastructure sector.Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials standards.Proficiency in cost estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.Strong negotiation and communication skills for dealing with contractors and stakeholders.Familiarity with contract administration and claims management.Ability to work effectively in an office-based environment with occasional site visits.Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
