We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented English–Arabic Translator to provide high-quality written translations across a range of materials. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong linguistic accuracy, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to convey tone, meaning, and nuance faithfully in Arabic.
Responsibilities include:
• Translating short and long-form written content from English to Arabic with precision and fluency.
• Ensuring clarity, consistency, and cultural appropriateness in all translated texts.
• Reviewing and proofreading translations to maintain the highest standard of quality.
• Managing multiple tasks and meeting agreed deadlines under minimal supervision.
• Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in handling all materials.
Requirements:• Native or near-native proficiency in Arabic and strong command of English.• Proven experience in professional translation, preferably in communications, development, or public information contexts.• Excellent writing, editing, and linguistic skills in both languages.Ability to adapt tone and register according to different audiences.• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and consistency.• Familiarity with terminology used in international, humanitarian, or institutional settings is an advantage.• Ability to work independently and meet short turnaround times.
