Procurement Specialist

  • Source, evaluate, and select suppliers to ensure the best quality, cost, and delivery terms for raw materials and services.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to secure advantageous agreements.
  • Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong professional relationships to ensure consistent supply and service levels.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to determine procurement needs and ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
  • Resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or pricing discrepancies with suppliers.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and stay updated on industry trends.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important procurement data.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.3-6 years of proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or purchasing roles.Strong negotiation and communication skills.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in procurement software “ SAP ” and Microsoft Office Suite.Solid understanding of supply chain and inventory management principles.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Attention to detail and high level of organizational skills.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Experience in the manufacturing or industrial sector is a plus.
