Senior Sales Specialist – Tourism Services

Job Purpose

To develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase the company's market share in the tourism sector by attracting new clients and maintaining strong relationships with existing ones. The candidate will lead sales efforts for tourism services, leveraging their experience and strong network within the tourism industry to achieve sales targets and enhance the company’s market presence
Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for tourism services (bookings, travel packages, partnerships, etc.).
  • Develop relationships with travel agencies, hotels, airlines, and both local and international partners.
  • Prepare commercial offers, proposals, and contracts in coordination with legal and administrative teams.
  • Analyze the tourism market and provide regular reports on trends and emerging opportunities.
  • Propose and develop new tourism products and services based on market and client needs.
  • Represent the company in tourism exhibitions, conferences, and marketing events
    Key Activities:
  • Daily communication with prospective and existing clients for meetings and sales presentations.
  • Regularly update and manage the customer database and analyze purchasing behavior and preferences.
  • Execute targeted sales campaigns during peak travel seasons.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (customer service, operations, marketing) to ensure excellent customer experience.
  • Follow up on bookings, payments, and ensure client satisfaction with agreed services.
  • Submit regular performance reports to senior management
     

QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Tourism, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in tourism sales or travel services.Advanced knowledge of local and regional tourism markets.Professional certifications or training in sales or tourism (e.g., IATA, Amadeus, Sabre) are a plusSkillsExcellent communication and negotiation skills.Strong ability to build and maintain long-term client and partner relationships.Solid understanding of tourism solutions and services (travel packages, bookings, etc.).Market analysis and performance reporting capabilities.Proficiency in CRM tools and customer relationship management.Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages are an advantage.Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
