- Preparing test samples of materials used in production, components, etc.
- Perform QA/QC on produced chemicals according to established standards and guidelines.
- Conducting routine chemical tests to ensure conformance to established specifications.
- Analysing qualitative and quantitative tests by recording and computing relevant data.
- Being responsible for maintaining laboratory equipment and ordering replacement parts, where necessary.
- Ordering chemical stock as required.
- Maintaining a sound working knowledge and awareness of safety regulations and operating procedures within the laboratory environment.
- Ensuring services such as cleaning and waste disposal are conducted efficiently and promptly.

Minimum of 5 years and maximum of 7 years of experience in a quality control or analytical chemistry role within the chemical industry.Faculty of science, chemical majorStrong understanding of chemical testing methodologies and quality assurance protocols.Excellent documentation and reporting skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, on-site laboratory environment.Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot analytical and process issues.Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations applicable to chemical laboratories.Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.Experience supporting internal and external audits is highly desirable.
