- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Coordinate and complete annual audits, liaising with external auditors and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Monitor and reconcile general ledger accounts, resolving discrepancies and ensuring data integrity.
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance efficiency and safeguard assets.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes, providing financial insights and recommendations to management.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and accurate record-keeping.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Minimum of 1 year to 8 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in an educational or service-oriented environment.Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and audit coordination.Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
