● Maintain and reconcile the general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
● Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
● Process journal entries and ensure all business transactions are recorded appropriately.
● Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals and adjustments.
● Analyze financial data and provide insights to support management decision-making.
● Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation.
● Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and relevant regulations.
● Support the budgeting and forecasting processes by providing accurate financial data.
● Investigate and resolve discrepancies or irregularities in accounts and financial records.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve accounting processes and systems.
● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.● 2-5 years of experience in general ledger accounting or a similar role.● Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.● Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.● Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.● Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work.● Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.● Strong communication and interpersonal skills.● Experience working in a fast-paced, office-based environment.● Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
