Project Manager

  • Receiving all architectural and engineering drawings from the Technical Office, reviewing them alongside any available 3D designs, and verifying all details in the execution drawings.
  • Developing project timelines and detailed work plans, with a commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Preparing financial cash flow plans that align with the project timelines and ensuring full compliance.
  • Selecting, approving, and coordinating with suppliers, contractors, and laborers based on highest quality, best pricing, and reliability. Coordinating with the Technical Office Manager to prepare contractor agreements outlining duties, responsibilities, and specific terms.
  • Taking full responsibility for site engineers, supervising their work quality and progress. Monitoring site materials and inventory, ensuring no waste due to negligence, theft, or other issues. Responsible for conducting technical evaluations of site engineers when requested by the HR department.
  • Participating and coordinating with the Technical Office Manager in quantity surveying and pricing for client BOQs, based on knowledge of market trends and labor costs.
  • Following up with the Finance Department to ensure adherence to the allocated budget for each project, analyzing any overruns, and proposing corrective actions.
  • Ensuring that on-site execution complies with approved shop drawings. Any changes arising from site conditions or client requests must be updated on the drawings in coordination with the Technical Office, with continuous effort to keep the drawings aligned with the actual work after client approval.
  • Preparing variation orders (VOs) for additional works requested by the client and obtaining both technical and financial approvals before execution, in coordination with the Technical Office.
  • Submitting weekly reports to top management on work plans, progress status, and financial position of the projects.
  • Reviewing and approving contractor and supplier invoices submitted by site engineers before final approval by the Technical Office and Finance Department, after verifying quantities and quality of executed work.
  • Resolving any on-site issues and ensuring proper coordination between suppliers, contractors, and site engineers. Ensuring availability of materials and preventing delays or work disruptions.
  • Ensuring the safety of engineers and laborers on site, and making sure safety procedures are followed.
  • Preparing complete documentation for each project, including updates, approvals, and any variations, to be submitted when required.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.4-6 years of proven experience in project management within the engineering or construction sector.Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage multidisciplinary teams.Demonstrated experience in planning, scheduling, and budgeting for large-scale projects.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar).Solid understanding of construction methods, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Willingness to work onsite and travel to project locations as required.
