Job Objective and Purpose: Supervising a team of engineers and technicians in a contracting company specialized in interior finishes, with a focus on achieving quality standards and precision in project execution. Through effective coordination and guidance of technical efforts, the manager seeks to ensure that work is completed on time and within the specified budget, thereby enhancing efficiency and reflecting the company's commitment to excellence and innovation in service delivery.

 

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Supervise technical office engineers and distribute tasks to ensure efficient workflow.
• Review and develop engineering designs and plans to ensure their compliance with client requirements and technical standards.
• Provide periodic reports on project progress and monitor the technical performance of the team.
• Collaborate with other business teams such as execution and procurement to ensure work integration.
• Address technical challenges and provide effective solutions to ensure uninterrupted workflow.
• Ensure that projects comply with quality standards and required technical specifications.
• Provide support and guidance to engineers and technicians to enhance their technical skills.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in the field of interior finishes to apply them in projects.

Educational Qualifications:He must possess the following qualifications:Bachelor's Degree: in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or any related field.Professional Certifications Preferred: Additional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health) are a plus.Preferred Training Courses: Specialized courses in project management, quality control, and modern finishing techniques.Experience:Experience in the contracting field: 3 to 5 years in technical office management, especially in interior finishing.Languages:Fluent in Arabic, both spoken and written.Proficient in English, at least at a good level, both spoken and written.Skills:Must be proficient in the following skills:Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and develop appropriate designs.Strong organizational skills to execute projects on time and within budget.Deep understanding of interior finish materials, their properties, and uses.Proficiency in using engineering design software.Ability to accurately estimate project costs and prepare budgets.Knowledge of quality principles and standards.Technical problem-solving: ability to diagnose technical issues and provide effective and quick solutions.Personal Traits:Must possess the following traits:Ability to guide and motivate the team towards achieving common goals.Adaptability to changes and new situations quickly and effectively.Strong communication skills that allow for positive interaction with all parties.Attention to detail to ensure work quality and compliance with specifications.Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure work environments.Proactive decision-making and providing solutions to problems.Commitment to deadlines and accountability for results.Ability to think long-term and set goals and plans to achieve success.
