About the Role
We are looking for a Mid-Level Backend Engineer to join our team and help build reliable, scalable APIs and services. You will work primarily with Django REST Framework, while also handling core DevOps and cloud-infrastructure tasks to ensure smooth deployments and high availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Django REST Framework.
- Implement database models, optimize queries, and ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with frontend developers and product teams to deliver new features end-to-end.
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, and monitor performance.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Apply best practices for security, testing, and code quality.
Requirements2–4 years of backend development experience, with at least 2 years using Django and Django REST Framework.Proficiency in Python and relational databases such as PostgreSQL.Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and practices: Docker, CI/CD workflows, basic infrastructure as code.Familiarity with cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure) including deployment and scaling.Understanding of API design principles, performance optimization, and application security.Comfortable working with Git and collaborative development workflows. Nice to HaveExperience with Kubernetes or other orchestration tools.Knowledge of monitoring/observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).Familiarity with microservices or event-driven architectures.
