- Oversee daily operations related to logistics, warehousing, and export activities to ensure timely and efficient workflow.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to manage vessel calls, cargo handling, and shipment schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal storage and movement of goods across multiple warehouse locations.
- Prepare and review shipping documentation, including bills of lading, export permits, and customs declarations.
- Implement and maintain operational procedures to maximize productivity and minimize errors or delays.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to operational efficiency and cost control.
- Resolve operational issues promptly by liaising with port authorities, shipping agents, and logistics providers.
- Support compliance with local and international regulations governing export and logistics operations.
- Assist in the development and execution of process improvement initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on operational status, challenges, and opportunities.
Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.4-5 years of proven experience in operations, logistics, or export management, preferably within the chemicals or fertilizers sector.Strong understanding of shipping, warehousing, and export documentation processes.Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.Demonstrated ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and manage complex logistics operations.Proficiency in MS Office Suite and logistics management software.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, office-based environment.Attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence.
