Senior Structural Engineer / Structural Design Manager
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer / Structural Design Manager to lead our structural design team and manage diverse, large-scale projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in engineering consultancy firms, strong technical expertise in structural design, and the ability to lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of structural engineers, ensuring high-quality project delivery.
Oversee the design and execution of major and complex structural projects.
Conduct structural analysis, prepare design drawings, and ensure compliance with industry codes and standards.
Utilize BIM software to produce and review detailed designs up to IFC LOD 350.
Ensure adherence to Saudi Building Code and/or GCC codes.
Collaborate effectively with project stakeholders, clients, and multidisciplinary teams.
Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and leadership to junior engineers.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (required).Minimum 15 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree, OR 10 years of experience with a Ph.D. (must be a practicing structural designer, not academic).Proven experience in engineering consultancy firms (continuous experience required).Expertise in structural design and project management across major and diverse projects.Proficiency in BIM software and advanced structural analysis tools.Ability to prepare design drawings up to IFC LOD 350.Familiarity with Saudi Building Code or GCC codes.Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.Excellent command of English (spoken and written).
