- The Sales Engineer is responsible for promoting and selling the company’s steel products, building and maintaining strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- This role combines technical knowledge of steel products with strong sales and negotiation skills to achieve sales targets and support business growth.
- Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with new and existing customers in the steel industry.
- Provide technical support and product knowledge to clients, ensuring the best solutions for their needs.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of sales agreements with customers.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams (production, logistics, finance) to ensure smooth order processing and delivery.
- Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to ensure satisfaction and promptly resolve issues.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related field.Proven experience in sales within the steel or construction materials industry.Strong technical knowledge of steel products, applications, and specifications.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Ability to build and maintain long-term business relationships with clients.Strong problem-solving skills with a results-driven mindset.Willingness to travel locally or internationally as required.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.Fluency in English (written and spoken).
