Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and data-driven Senior social media & Content to develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy and content ecosystem. You will be responsible for increasing brand awareness, enhancing online engagement, driving traffic, and acquiring customers/clients. The ideal candidate is a storyteller at heart, possesses a deep understanding of the digital landscape, and can translate marketing objectives into compelling content and social conversations.

  • Job Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning (25%)

  • Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive social media and content strategy to align with business goals.
  • Conduct audience research and define key metrics for measuring campaign success.
  • Perform competitive analysis and stay ahead of digital marketing trends, tools, and applications.
  • Manage the social media and content marketing budget, if applicable.

 

Content Creation & Curation (35%)

  • Create, edit, publish, and share engaging content daily (e.g., text, images, videos, stories, reels) that builds meaningful connections and encourage community members to take action.
  • Develop a content calendar for all social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, TikTok, Pinterest) and owned channels (blog, email).
  • Write, proofread, and edit compelling copy for posts, blog articles, newsletters, and video scripts that is on-brand and optimized for SEO.
  • Collaborate with designers, videographers, and external agencies to produce high-quality visual assets.

 

Community Management & Engagement (15%)

  • Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community.
  • Respond to comments and customer queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Build and nurture relationships with followers, influencers, and brand advocates.
  • Monitor and report on online reviews and feedback.

 

Analytics & Reporting (15%)

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as engagement, reach, leads, conversion rates, and ROI.
  • Use analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights,) to track performance and generate monthly reports.
  • Analyze campaign performance and translate data into actionable insights and recommendations for optimization.

 

Administrative & Cross-Functional (10%)

  • Manage and organize digital assets and content libraries.
  • Collaborate with other teams (Sales, Product, Customer Service) to ensure brand consistency and leverage user-generated content.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of live social media events (e.g., Twitter chats, Instagram).

Job QualificationsEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.3 - 5 years of proven professional experience as a Social Media Specialist, Content Creator, or similar role.A portfolio showcasing successful social media campaigns and content samples (e.g., blog posts, videos, graphics) is required. Technical Skills & KnowledgePlatform Proficiency: Hands-on experience in managing and growing business accounts on core platforms: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, TikTok.Management Tools: Experience with social media management and listening tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, Later).Analytical Skills: Solid knowledge of web and social analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights).SEO & Blogging: Understanding of SEO principles and experience with blogging platforms (e.g., WordPress). Competencies RequiredCore CompetenciesExceptional Writing & Communication: Ability to craft clear, compelling, and grammatically flawless copy for different platforms and audiences.
