Business Development & Proposal Specialist

Proposal Writing and Editing

  • Draft compelling technical proposals, concept notes, and capability statements that align with client requirements.
  • Write and design persuasive pitch decks, brochures, and visual assets using PowerPoint or similar tools.
  • Edit and proofread all documents for clarity, accuracy, consistency, grammar, formatting, and tone.
  • Maintain the highest standards of readability and professionalism across all written materials.

Proposal Development and Management

  • Lead the end-to-end development of high-quality technical and financial proposals in response to RFPs, tenders, EOIs, and calls from governments, donors, NGOs, and private sector clients.
  • Coordinate the full proposal lifecycle, including timeline management, task delegation, internal reviews, and submission.
  • Ensure all proposals are professionally produced and delivered within customer-defined timeframes.

Collaboration and Research

  • Work closely with technical and cross-functional teams to gather accurate data, insights, and inputs.
  • Conduct thorough background research on clients, country contexts, market dynamics, and competitor positioning to inform proposal strategies and content.
  • Attend client meetings, briefings, and bidder sessions to gather critical information and ensure technical alignment.

Knowledge and Quality Management

  • Utilize standardized templates and maintain a centralized repository of proposal content, templates, and support materials.
  • Follow established proposal-writing standards and internal processes to ensure consistency, quality, and compliance.
  • Continuously contribute to winning strategies by analyzing competitor offerings, client priorities, and regional market trends.

Pre-Sales and Post-Submission Support

  • Support presales activities by gathering technical and business requirements, coordinating solution designs, and contributing to client presentations and demos.
  • Track business development progress, assist in post-submission clarifications, and facilitate a smooth handover to implementation teams for awarded projects.
  • Manage multiple writing assignments simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.

At least 2:4 years of Proven experience in proposal writing and presales, in the education, Edtech sector, is a plus. Bachelor's degree in Business and Education, or a related field.Excellent Communication, Time Management, and Multitasking Skills.Excellent Proofreading, Writing, Research, and Organizational skills.Excellent English and Arabic Languages, French is a plus.Excellent user of Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and AI Tools.
